Cardinals safety Joey Blount has been ruled out for the rest of the 2025 season due to a neck injury. Head coach Jonathan Gannon confirmed this in a press conference, stating that Blount will be placed on injured reserve. Blount was seen wearing a neck brace after the team’s recent victory over New Orleans. He had only played 10 special teams snaps in the season opener and had played in 15 games the previous year, contributing to 70 percent of special teams snaps.
