Patriots release Layden Robinson as injuries continue to plague 2024 draft class
The Patriots’ 2024 draft class has been disappointing, with only quarterback Drake Maye likely to make the 2025 roster. Layden Robinson, a fourth-round pick from last year, was waived-injured and placed on the injured reserve list. Second-round pick Ja’Lynn Polk is expected to join him due to a shoulder injury. Third-round pick Caedan Wallace and fourth-round pick Javon Baker are on the roster bubble. Sixth-round pick Marcellas Dial Jr. is on injured reserve, and Joe Milton III was traded to the Cowboys.
