Police say New York skyscraper mass shooter constructed weapon on his own
Shane Tamura, the man who carried out a mass shooting in a New York City skyscraper, constructed the rifle used in the attack himself from parts. Authorities are questioning an associate who supplied components for the assault rifle. Tamura, who had a permit to carry a concealed weapon, had a history of mental health problems and a recent arrest for erratic behavior at a casino in Las Vegas. He intended to target the NFL offices due to concerns about brain injuries in contact sports but ended up in the wrong location.
