Steelers sign GM Khan to new 3-year contract

Steelers extend GM Khan’s contract for 3 years

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed general manager Omar Khan to a new three-year deal, extending his contract through the 2028 season. Team president Art Rooney II praised Khan and his team for their success in roster construction through the NFL Draft, trades, and free agency. Khan, who replaced Kevin Colbert in 2022, has led the team to two postseason appearances in his three seasons as GM. Khan expressed gratitude for the support from Rooney and emphasized the goal of winning another Super Bowl for Pittsburgh. He has been active in free agency and trades, including signing Aaron Rodgers and acquiring DK Metcalf and Jalen Ramsey. The Steelers also have a strong draft position with 12 picks in the 2026 NFL draft. Coach Mike Tomlin is under contract through the 2027 season.
