Steelers extend contract of safety DeShon Elliott

Steelers sign safety DeShon Elliott to contract extension

DeShon Elliott, who previously didn’t want Aaron Rodgers to join the Steelers, has signed a two-year, $12.5 million extension with Pittsburgh. The deal includes $9.21 million in guarantees. Drafted by the Ravens in 2018, Elliott played for other teams before joining the Steelers in 2024. He had 14 starts in 15 games last season. Elliott had a change of heart about Rodgers after working out with him in California and witnessing his skills as a first-ballot Hall of Famer with an exceptional arm at 41 years old.
