Texans sign RB Chubb as Browns pay tribute
DJ Bien-Aime, who covers the Houston Texans for ESPN, announced that the team has signed four-time Pro Bowl running back Nick Chubb to a one-year, $2.5 million deal that could be worth up to $5 million. Chubb, a former Cleveland Browns player, joins the Texans’ rushing attack led by Joe Mixon, Dameon Pierce, Dare Ogunbowale, and the rookie Woody Marks. Chubb spent seven years in Cleveland, but injuries derailed his career, causing him to miss games in 2023 and 2024. The Texans are hoping Chubb can regain his Pro Bowl form and form a strong duo with Mixon, who had a successful 2024 season.
