RB Alexander Mattison is on his way to Miami
The Dolphins have signed free agent running back Alexander Mattison to replace Raheem Mostert, who left for the Raiders. Mattison will back up starting running back De’Von Achane and provide depth along with Jaylen Wright. Mattison, 26, previously played for the Raiders and the Vikings, totaling 3,802 yards and 22 touchdowns in his career. He signed a one-year, $2 million deal with the Raiders last year after spending his first five seasons in Minnesota. Mattison had 168 touches for 714 yards and five touchdowns in 14 games with the Raiders. The Dolphins hope he can make a positive impact on their offense.
