The Patriots are bringing in new free agents while also retaining some of their own players like safety Jaylinn Hawkins. Hawkins has agreed to a one-year, $2.5 million deal with New England after a successful season with the team. He had 48 tackles, three tackles for loss, a pass defensed, and a fumble recovery in 2023. Hawkins was previously a fourth-round pick for the Atlanta Falcons in 2020 and also played for the Chargers before joining the Patriots. Throughout his career, he has accumulated 183 tackles, four interceptions, a half-sack, a forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries.
