Commanders secure new contract with three-time Pro Bowl tight end
Veteran tight end Zach Ertz, who has already won a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles, has re-signed with the Washington Commanders on a one-year deal worth up to $9 million with incentives. Ertz, who spent three seasons with the Arizona Cardinals before joining Washington in 2024, had a successful season with the Commanders in 2024, catching 66 passes for 654 yards and seven touchdowns. His re-signing provides continuity for the Commanders as they head into the 2025 season, following a strong offseason that included acquiring Deebo Samuel and bringing back key defensive players.
