Cutler, former NFL quarterback, charged with DUI and weapons possession
Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, 41, was arrested in Tennessee for a traffic crash and faces charges of driving under the influence, possession of a handgun while under the influence, failure to exercise due care, and implied consent. Cutler rear-ended another vehicle and showed signs of impairment, refusing field sobriety tests. He was booked in the Williamson County Jail and released on a $5,000 bond. Cutler played for the Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears, becoming the Bears’ all-time leading passer before finishing his career with the Miami Dolphins in 2017.
