Seahawks OLB Nwosu set to be placed on Injured Reserve
Seattle Seahawks outside linebacker Uchenna Nwosu will be placed on injured reserve due to a thigh injury, meaning he will miss at least the next four games. The team hopes he can return for Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers. Additionally, rookie defensive tackle Byron Murphy II is likely to miss the upcoming game with a hamstring injury. Other players who may be sidelined include cornerback Riq Woolen, and outside linebackers Derick Hall and Boye Mafe. Nwosu missed most of last season due to injury and only recently returned to play before being sidelined again. The Seahawks are looking to break their losing streak against the 49ers.
