Detroit Lions defensive end Marcus Davenport suffered a likely season-ending torn triceps injury in his team’s victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Coach Dan Campbell confirmed the injury and stated that Davenport was seeking additional opinions. Linebacker Derrick Barnes will also miss significant time due to a knee injury. Other players, including tight end Sam LaPorta and safety Brian Branch, are day-to-day with injuries. Davenport, signed to a one-year contract earlier this year, has a history of injuries since entering the NFL in 2018. This season, he appeared in two games before the injury.
