After David Njoku’s injury, the Browns welcome a wave of veteran tight ends
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku suffered an ankle injury in the team’s season-opening loss to the Dallas Cowboys and is described as “week-to-week” by head coach Kevin Stefanski. Njoku, coming off a strong season in 2023, is set to miss some time, leading the Browns to host several tight ends for visits and workouts. Among them are Irv Smith Jr., Tommy Sweeney, and Geoff Swaim. While none of them will match Njoku’s production, they offer experienced depth at the position while he is sidelined.
