Ravens place rookie RB on injured reserve, sign player from practice squad and promote 2 others
Prior to their Week 1 game, the Ravens placed rookie running back Rasheen Ali on injured reserve and signed inside linebacker Josh Ross to the roster from the practice squad. They also activated defensive back Ka’dar Hollman and running back John Kelly for the game. Ross adds to the special teams unit and provides depth at inside linebacker, while Kelly gives the Ravens a third running back option. Hollman’s promotion also strengthens the special teams unit. This move comes as the Ravens prepare to face the Kansas City Chiefs, with starters Roquan Smith and Trenton Simpson leading the way on defense.
