Lions vs. Giants joint practices marred by numerous fights
Joint practices between the Detroit Lions and New York Giants got heated with fights, scuffles, and punches thrown. Giants quarterback Daniel Jones and GM Joe Schoen were involved in fights. Giants players defended Jones but also urged caution. The practices were physical, with Giants LT Andrew Thomas delivering a hard hit on Lions CB Terrion Arnold. The two teams held joint practices ahead of their preseason game on Thursday. Day 2 of practice also saw fights, including one involving Giants rookie WR Malik Nabers and Lions safety Kerby Joseph. Monday’s practices were competitive, but tensions occasionally boiled over into physical altercations.
