Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert sidelined for a minimum of 2 weeks due to foot injury
Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert will miss at least the next two weeks due to an injury to the plantar fascia in his right foot. Doctors expect him to be ready for the season opener on Sept. 8. This is the first significant injury during Jim Harbaugh’s first training camp as Chargers coach. Herbert has previously dealt with a variety of injuries, including bruised ribs and broken fingers. Easton Stick will take most of the snaps with the first team while Herbert is out. The team also has Max Duggan and undrafted rookie Casey Bauman on the roster.
