Wirfs to participate in camp after skipping OTAs
Tampa Bay Buccaneers All-Pro left tackle Tristan Wirfs, who has been absent from OTAs during contract negotiations, will be attending the mandatory minicamp next week. If a new contract isn’t reached, he will play under the fifth-year option in 2024. The Bucs are motivated to lock Wirfs up long term, considering him a cornerstone piece for the franchise. The team did not grant Devin White’s trade request last year over contract negotiations, leading him to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason. Wirfs has been in the weight room and team facility this offseason, showing his commitment to the team.
