Former Golden State Warriors General Manager Bob Myers Hired by an NFL Team
Former Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers has been hired by the Washington Commanders to assist in the team’s search for a new head coach and new head of football operations. The Commanders have also fired head coach Ron Rivera after a 4-13 season and have tasked Myers with leading the team in identifying candidates and coordinating interviews. With new ownership in place and the No. 2 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, the Commanders job is expected to draw significant interest. Myers, who stepped down from his position with the Warriors last summer, has since taken a job with a broadcasting network.
