Lions rookie matches HOFer Barry Sanders in victory against Bears
Detroit Lions rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs made history by becoming the third rookie running back in franchise history to score a touchdown in four consecutive games, joining Kevin Jones and Barry Sanders. In Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears, Gibbs had 95 combined yards, catching all six targets for 59 receiving yards and rushing eight times for 36 yards and a touchdown. His performance contributed to the Lions’ 31-26 win.
