Justin Fields and the Bears dominate the Commanders, breaking their losing streak
The Chicago Bears secured their first win of the season by defeating the Washington Commanders 40-20 on Thursday night. Bears receiver D.J. Moore had an outstanding performance with 137 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the first half alone. The Bears’ defense also played well, holding Washington to just 13 rushing yards in the first half. Despite a slight comeback attempt by the Commanders in the third quarter, the Bears held on for the win. Quarterback Justin Fields threw for 282 yards and four touchdowns, while Khalil Herbert contributed 76 rushing yards.
