Eagles reportedly signing a new punter to their practice squad

New Punter Reportedly Joining Eagles Practice Squad

The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly signing former Jets and Steelers punter Braden Mann to their practice squad, according to veteran NFL reporter Adam Caplan. Mann, 25, was most recently with the Steelers but was released at final cuts. He was the Jets’ punter for the previous three seasons before being cut by the team. Siposs has been elevated to play in the first two weeks of the season, but the Eagles have been searching for an upgrade at the punter position. It is believed that Mann is a slight upgrade over Siposs based on his career stats.
