Kenny McIntosh placed on IR by Seahawks; two members from practice squad promoted
The Seattle Seahawks have placed running back Kenny McIntosh on injured reserve after he sprained his left knee in a mock game last month. McIntosh will be out for a minimum of four games before he is eligible to return. Additionally, cornerback Artie Burns and linebacker Jon Rhattigan have been elevated for Sunday’s season opener against the Los Angeles Rams. Burns, who joined the Seahawks as a free agent last year, has transitioned to the nickel spot and performed well in the preseason. Rhattigan, an undrafted rookie from Army, is known for his contributions on special teams.
