Prisco’s NFL Week 9 Power Rankings: Bills Claim Top Spot, Steelers Surge Upwards
Despite initial skepticism, Mike McCarthy and the aging Pittsburgh Steelers have surged to a 6-2 record, leading the AFC North. McCarthy, returning to his Pittsburgh roots after a tumultuous tenure with the Cowboys, is aided by a strong running game and an impressive defense that ranks fourth in scoring. In a recent game, the Steelers dominated the Browns, showcasing their strengths with 200 rushing yards and eight sacks. Aaron Rodgers, while not needing to carry the team, has contributed to their success. As they head into a bye week, the Steelers solidify their playoff prospects.
