Dak Prescott Responds to Jerry Jones’ Remarks on Offensive Identity, Stresses Importance of Winning Against Cardinals
After the Dallas Cowboys’ 38-21 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, owner Jerry Jones expressed his desire for the team to be a “run-first” offensive unit. Quarterback Dak Prescott acknowledged the importance of establishing the run game, which had been lacking in previous weeks, contributing to increased passing situations. The Cowboys, who ranked 25th in rushing yards, saw running back Javonte Williams shine with 155 rushing yards against the Eagles. Heading into their game against the 2-5 Arizona Cardinals, Prescott emphasized the necessity of victory, reflecting on the team’s struggles against Arizona in recent years.
