Ravens Debate: Was Trading for Quenton Nelson the Right Move for Eric DeCosta?
The Seahawks have made headlines by trading for eight-time Pro Bowl guard Quenton Nelson from Indianapolis for future draft picks. The Ravens, facing offensive line challenges and losing rookie guard Vega Ioane to injury, are reconsidering their options. Nelson could significantly upgrade their line but would require restructuring contracts due to their limited cap space. While some argue he’s a game-changer worth the investment, concerns about his expiring contract and long-term fit are prominent. Ultimately, the Ravens’ strategy may prioritize other areas, such as defense, suggesting a cautious approach rather than a bold trade for Nelson.
