DT D.J. Reader Completes Physical with Ravens, Potential Signing Post-Draft
The Ravens recently hosted defensive tackle D.J. Reader for a visit, but he left without a contract and may sign with another team after the NFL draft. The 31-year-old has started 32 games over the past two seasons for the Lions, but posted no sacks or tackles for loss in 2025. While his counting stats are modest, Reader excels as a space-eater. He ranks 37th in pass rush win rate among DTs, despite a below-average run stop rate. Baltimore has three nose tackles on the roster but could benefit from Reader’s experience, especially as Nnamdi Madubuike recovers from injury.
