Falcons Strike One-Year Deal with RB Brian Robinson
On March 24, 2026, the Atlanta Falcons signed running back Brian Robinson to a one-year, $2.5 million deal, replacing Tyler Allgeier, who joined the Arizona Cardinals. Robinson, previously acquired by the San Francisco 49ers as backup insurance for Christian McCaffrey, had a limited impact last season with only 92 rushing attempts for 400 yards and two touchdowns. Before San Francisco, he was the primary back for the Washington Commanders for three seasons. At 27, Robinson has accumulated 2,729 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns in his career, averaging 4.1 yards per carry since being drafted in 2022.
