Chris Rodriguez will not play for Commanders-Cowboys on Christmas Day

The Washington Commanders will be missing running back Chris Rodriguez for their Christmas Day game against the Cowboys due to illness. Rodriguez, who has 435 rushing yards and five touchdowns this season, was added to the injury report as questionable earlier in the week. Quarterback Josh Johnson will start in place of Jayden Daniels and Marcus Mariota, while Sam Hartman will serve as Washington’s emergency third quarterback.
