The Jets may have made a big mistake by not accepting a trade offer from the Cowboys that would have brought them Micah Parsons and a first-round pick in exchange for Quinnen Williams. Parsons has been more productive than Williams and could have been a valuable addition to the team. While Jerry Jones’ claim should be taken with a grain of salt, the Jets could have afforded Parsons’ contract and built a strong team foundation with him, cornerback Sauce Gardner, and wide receiver Garrett Wilson. By declining the offer and opting for a full-on franchise reset, the Jets may have missed out on a significant opportunity.
