Steelers defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale has been suspended by the NFL for violating the performance-enhancing substances policy. He will be suspended without pay for five games. Ekuale is currently on injured reserve after tearing his ACL in a game against the Packers. Despite only appearing in seven games this season, he recorded six tackles, a quarterback hit, and a pass defensed. Ekuale, 31, signed a one-year contract with the Steelers in free agency after playing four seasons with the Patriots.
