Ravens’ Derrick Henry can pass Jim Brown, three other HOFers on rushing list

Derrick Henry of the Ravens Approaching Rushing Milestone of Jim Brown and Three Other Hall of Famers

Derrick Henry has a chance to surpass four Hall of Famers on the all-time career rushing list during the Ravens’ Week 12 game against the New York Jets. He recently joined the 12,000-yard club and passed Walter Payton in career touchdown runs. Henry needs just 50 yards to pass Marcus Allen and Edgerrin James, and 83 yards to surpass Jim Brown on the list. Allen and Faulk are two of three players with over 12,000 rushing and 5,000 receiving yards. Faulk was the second player to reach 1,000 yards in both rushing and receiving in a single season, while James won two rushing titles in his first two seasons and reached a Super Bowl with the Cardinals. Brown, a dominant force in the 1960s, led the Browns to an NFL title and won eight rushing titles in just nine seasons. Henry, a five-time Pro Bowler, is making a case as one of the best running backs of his generation and holds the record for the most rushing yards gained by a player over the age of 30 in a single season.
