The New York Giants have fired head coach Brian Daboll, with former Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy being the betting favorite to take over. McCarthy had a successful record against the Giants while coaching the Cowboys. It would be interesting to see McCarthy return to coaching after a year away from the game, as he did before taking the Cowboys job. If he were to join the Giants, it would be the second time in a row that a former Cowboys head coach would end up with the Giants. Additionally, Dak Prescott has never lost to the Giants during his time with the Cowboys.
