Eagles acquire CB Jaire Alexander from Ravens
The Ravens are trading Jaire Alexander to the Eagles for a 2026 sixth-round draft pick and sending a 2027 seventh-rounder to Philadelphia as part of the deal. Alexander signed a one-year, $4 million deal with the Ravens after being released by the Packers but only appeared in two games with limited playing time. Baltimore is shedding salary and upgrading a draft pick by trading Alexander, who was buried on their depth chart. The Eagles have been dealing with uncertainty at the cornerback position and Alexander provides them with another option. Despite the risk of regretting the deal due to potential injuries, the Ravens are following their pattern of investing in low-cost veterans with potential upside.
