In Division 2, Cardinal Newman defeated Berean Christian 3-0 to advance to the NCS quarterfinals, facing American next. Justin-Siena also had a surprise win over Marin Academy and will play Salesian next. In Division 4, Sonoma Academy beat Livermore and will face Urban, while Montgomery defeated El Cerrito and will play Bethel. In Division 6, St. Vincent swept North Hills Christian and will host St. Bernard’s next. Maria Carrillo’s Annie Lee won the NBL singles championship, advancing to the NCS singles championships. Various NCS volleyball games are scheduled for Saturday in different divisions.
