Diontae Johnson Works Out with the Giants on Tuesday
The New York Giants held a very active “Tryout Tuesday” with 11 free agents trying out for the coaching staff, including receiver Diontae Johnson, who had a tumultuous journey through several NFL teams before signing with the Browns after the 2025 draft. Johnson became a Pro Bowler in 2021. Other players who received workouts were Jaylen Johnson, Israel Abanikanda, Darrynton Evans, Montrell Johnson, Isaiah Bolden, O’Donnell Fortune, Jalen Kimber, Jarius Monroe, and Doneiko Slaughter, along with quarterback Jaren Hall. Hall, a fifth-round pick in 2023, was likely invited to throw passes during the tryouts.
