Buffalo Bills’ first-round pick Maxwell Hairston is set to make his NFL debut after being activated from injured reserve. He suffered a right LCL sprain in July, but has been practicing and is designated as a limited participant. Bills coach Sean McDermott emphasized managing expectations for Hairston’s return. The team also elevated safety Jordan Poyer and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips from the practice squad due to injuries. The Bills play the Carolina Panthers after their bye week.
