Browns GM Andrew Berry’s decision-making called into question again after latest trade
Andrew Berry, the Cleveland Browns general manager, has been making puzzling moves since taking over in January 2020. The latest trade involves sending Greg Newsome II and a 2026 sixth-round pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars for Tyson Campbell and a 2026 seventh-round pick. This trade follows another deal earlier in the week involving Joe Flacco. Newsome, a 2021 NFL Draft pick, is a quality starter with a slightly above-average coverage grade. In contrast, Campbell, a 2021 second-round pick, has been having a disappointing season with a below-average coverage grade and allowing three touchdown catches. This trade is viewed as not making sense and is a head-scratcher for the Browns.
