Saquon Barkley Expected to Play Thursday Despite General Soreness, Report Says
Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is dealing with knee soreness but is expected to play in Thursday Night Football against the Giants. He had lower snap participation in the previous game and his numbers are down compared to last season. Through the first five weeks of the season, Barkley has 267 rushing yards and three touchdowns, averaging 3.2 yards per carry, as well as 128 receiving yards and one touchdown. In comparison, in the first five games of last season, he had 482 rushing yards, four touchdowns, and 92 receiving yards and a touchdown.
