Steelers quarterback Skylar Thompson attacked and robbed in Ireland, sustains minor injuries
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Skylar Thompson was jumped and robbed in Dublin before the NFL’s first game in Ireland, but is okay and back with the team. The NFLPA is actively gathering more information on the incident. Thompson, a former seventh-round pick, is in his first season with the Steelers and was placed on injured reserve in September. Pittsburgh won against the Minnesota Vikings with a strong defensive effort and Aaron Rodgers leading the offense. The Steelers will have a bye week before facing the Browns in Week 6. Thompson’s health and safety remain a priority for the NFLPA.
