Titans place Sweat (ankle) on reserve/injured list
Turron Davenport, a Tennessee Titans reporter for ESPN, provides coverage for the team since 2018. A former college football player and author, Davenport hosts “Talking with TD” on ESPN Radio. The Titans will be without starting defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat in their upcoming game against the Indianapolis Colts due to an ankle injury. Sweat’s absence will be filled by veteran James Lynch, with Carlos Watkins also added to the roster. Last season, the Titans defense performed better with both Sweat and Jeffery Simmons on the field compared to when only one or neither played. Colts running back Jonathan Taylor had a standout game against the Titans last season.
