Bolts’ Mack’s Injury Will Not End His Season
Kris Rhim, a reporter for ESPN’s NFL Nation, covers the Los Angeles Chargers and coach Jim Harbaugh’s first season. Outside linebacker Khalil Mack injured his left elbow in a game against the Las Vegas Raiders but it is not season-ending. Coach Harbaugh praised Mack’s toughness, likening him to Wolverine. Mack will be placed on injured reserve and will miss at least four games. Despite the injury, Mack finished the game with one sack. With Mack sidelined, Caleb Murphy saw more playing time and finished with one quarterback pressure. Mack, 34, signed a one-year deal with the Chargers in March after considering retirement.
