Cowboys’ Beebe out 6-8 weeks with ankle sprain

Cowboys’ Player Beebe to Miss 6-8 Weeks Due to Ankle Sprain

Dallas Cowboys center Cooper Beebe will be out for 6-8 weeks due to a right ankle sprain that also includes a fracture in his foot. Beebe was injured in the Cowboys’ win against the New York Giants, and he has been placed on injured reserve. In his absence, Brock Hoffman will take over at center. The Cowboys have signed defensive end Jadeveon Clowney to fill the open roster spot. Cornerback DaRon Bland is also dealing with a foot sprain and is expected to return on Sept. 28 against the Green Bay Packers. Executive vice president Stephen Jones is hopeful for Beebe’s quick recovery.
