Steelers RB Jaylen Warren signs two-year extension, set to receive increased workload in revamped backfield
Jaylen Warren, Steelers running back, agreed to a two-year extension with the team, earning $7 million in 2025 and $12 million guaranteed. He had strong performances in 2023 but saw a slight dip in 2024. Despite this, he has been a success story since joining the Steelers as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2022. Warren began his collegiate career at Snow College, then transferred to Utah State and Oklahoma State. With Najee Harris leaving for the Chargers, Warren may see an increased role this season alongside rookie Kaleb Johnson.
