Cowboys update: DaRon Bland caught off guard by unexpected contract extension
The Cowboys are making changes to their roster before their season-opening game. They released Saahdiq Charles from the practice squad and brought back wide receiver Ryan Flournoy to add depth to their receiving corps. Flournoy, a sixth-round draft pick from 2024, had been waived earlier in the week. He had 10 catches for 102 yards in 11 games last season and is considered a promising player. Flournoy will join the Cowboys practice squad along with Jalen Brooks, Traeshon Holden, and Jalen Cropper, who can be elevated for three regular-season games. The team is still fine-tuning their lineup just days before their first game.
