Bears fifth-round cornerback Zah Frazier will miss rookie season due to “personal” situation

Zah Frazier, Bears’ fifth-round cornerback, to sit out rookie season for personal reasons

Bears cornerback Zah Frazier, a fifth-round pick in the 2025 draft, will miss his entire rookie season due to a non-football injury/illness. General Manager Ryan Poles explained that Frazier had a personal situation that arose before joining the team. Despite the setback, the team is supporting Frazier in his recovery. Frazier last practiced during rookie minicamp and was seen at practice in August. He will continue to attend meetings, work out, and receive medical care in the hopes of making his debut in the 2026 season. Frazier, who turns 25 in October, ran the 40-yard dash in 4.36 seconds at the Scouting Combine.
