Report: Proposals to Release QB Shane Buechele
The Buffalo Bills are cutting quarterback Shane Buechele, as well as Mike White, leaving only Josh Allen and Mitchell Trubisky on the active roster. Buechele had a strong preseason performance, completing 36-of-46 passes for 380 yards and a touchdown. Despite spending time on injured reserve in 2024 and the practice squad in 2023, Buechele has never played in a regular-season game. He initially signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2021 and spent time on their practice squad and active roster.
