Commanders and Terry McLaurin Come to Agreement on 3-Year, $96M Extension
Terry McLaurin has signed a three-year, $96 million extension with the Washington Commanders, ending his trade request and holdout. The deal includes a $30 million signing bonus and makes him the sixth-highest-paid wide receiver in the league with a $32 million average salary. McLaurin, who has consistently surpassed 1,000 receiving yards each season, had a breakout year in 2021 with 1,096 yards and 13 touchdowns. The agreement comes just in time for the Commanders’ season opener against the New York Giants. McLaurin, a 2019 third-round pick out of Ohio State, has been instrumental in Washington’s offense and playoff success.
