Head Coaches Will Sign Offensive Tackle George Fant
The Washington Commanders are signing tackle George Fant to add depth to their offensive line. Fant, 33, was with the Seattle Seahawks last season but only started two games before being released in March. The Commanders worked him out last week and decided to bring him on board. Fant entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2016 and has played in 101 career games with 75 starts. This signing will provide experience and versatility to Washington’s offensive line as they prepare for the upcoming season.
