Rayfield Wright, born in 1945 in Griffin, Georgia, played as an offensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys from 1967 to 1979. He was a key player in the team’s success, helping them win two Super Bowls and earning multiple awards such as All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections. Known as the “Big Cat” for his unique blend of size, agility, and quickness, Wright transitioned from tight end to tackle and became one of the most dominant linemen in NFL history. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006 for his contributions to the team and the sport.
