Jags’ Hunter (upper body) may sit vs. Saints

Jaguars’ Hunter (upper body) could be out against Saints

Jaguars receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter may not play in the preseason game due to an upper-body injury. Coach Liam Coen stated that the team will discuss whether other starters will also sit out due to various injuries. Hunter, the No. 2 pick in the 2025 draft, has been practicing on both sides of the ball. Several players, including right tackle Anton Harrison and cornerback Tyson Campbell, worked on the side during practice. The team wants to ensure that players are mentally prepared even if they are injured. Coen emphasized the importance of protecting players and not putting them in vulnerable positions due to injuries.
